Born in Rhodes, Despoina had always a love for the arts and nature with a bent towards the environmental sciences. She graduated Agriculture University, Athens (AUA). The courses were focused in Crop protection, Plant Pathology and Horticulture. Some years after she followed her dream by studying Landscape Architecture at the same institution as above.

Her passion is to design beautiful outdoor spaces that her clients can enjoy, taking care of the environment. Her approach is towards organic horticulture, respecting and working kindly with nature. Despoina prefers to work with local and organic varieties as well as native species when designing.

She is a member of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE), at the  Panhellenic Association of Landscape Architects (PHALA), at the Panhellenic Association of Greek Geotechnical Professionals & Green Businesses (P.E.E.G.E.P.) and the Mediterranean Garden Society (MGS).
